Copy notice dated 6 February 1863 giving the grounds for the removal. Sarah Laurence was born in Killerby in county Durham on 5 September 1832. She married John Laurence in March 1855 at the Cape of Good Hope, and they had three children. Her husband died without any known settlement in England and so she is entitled to her maiden settlement at Killerby. She has not lived in Middlesbrough for three years, and has not got any settlement there
