With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 4 January 1859 of Thomas McIntyre late of the House of Correction at Northallerton for stealing two pieces of calico print, the property of George Bottomley. McIntyre, who had previously been convicted of felony on 6 April 1858, was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for one calendar month, and then to a reformatory and industrial school for three years.
