Description | Bill of indictment of John Jardine Reid for obtaining the sums of £2 1s 2d, £4 4s 2d, £1 17s 7d, and £1 18s 10d from Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited by falsely pretending to William Atkinson a pay clerk in the employment of William Henry Ferdinand Bolckow and others trading as Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited that Timothy Callaghan had in the two weeks ending 10 February 1866 worked for Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited for 14 days and was entitled to 3s for each day; that Matthew Quin had worked for 17 days in the said two weeks [sic] and was entitled to 5s for each day; that James Andrews had worked 151/4 days in the two weeks [sic] and was entitled to 2s 6d for each day; and that Michael Duggan had worked for 153/4 days in the two weeks [sic] and was entitled to 2s 6d for each day
