TitleAffidavit of George Alderson Robson relating to attendance at the Easter Sessions
DescriptionAffidavit of George Alderson Robson of Reeth gentleman. He was subpoenaed to attend the Sessions to be held at Northallerton on 7 April 1869 and stayed the previous night at Leyburn, in order to be ready for the 6 a.m. train the next morning. He was not called in time for the first train but left Leyburn by the 8.45 a.m. train which arrived in Northallerton about 30 minutes late. He went straight to the Court House and stayed for several hours until he was informed by the officers of the court that he had been fined £5 because he was absent when the names were called, and that there was no need for him to stay any longer
