With certificate of conviction before two Justices at the borough of Ipswich on 17 December 1863 of James Davey aged 15 years for stealing (with Robert Folley and William Webb) 168 pounds weight of iron value 4s, the property of Robert Ransome and others, at the parish of St Clement in the borough of Ipswich on 15 December 1863. Davey was sentenced to 21 days in the gaol of the borough of Ipswich and then to be sent to a reformatory school for four years. Certificate not dated
