| Description | Bill of indictment of John Reardon for obtaining 12s from Elizabeth Powton by falsely pretending to her that a cheese which he was offering for sale was a Wensleydale cheese value 12s, and pretending that pieces of Wensleydale cheese called tasters were from the same cheese that was offered for sale. He also obtained 7s from Powton by falsely pretending that some cheese which he offered for sale was new-milk cheese value 7s, and offering tasters which he said were from the same cheese
