- certificate dated 23 December 1869 of two Justices that they have viewed the new highway starting at the south-east corner of the tithe barn in Slingsby and extending to the north-west corner of a piece of land belonging to and occupied by Henry East, being 70 yards in length and 23 feet in breadth , and found it completed and in good condition
- brief for counsel to move at the Epiphany [Christmas] Sessions 1870 that the old highway be stopped-up and that the Justices' certificate be enrolled |
