With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 29 June 1852 of William Gray late of the House of Correction at Northallerton for breaking into the shop of Thomas Pallister at New Malton and stealing 12 pounds weight of beef, four pounds weight of mutton, and one pound weight of suet, the property of Richard Hodgson. Gray was sentenced to be transported for seven years. Certificate dated 13 June 1870
