With certificate of conviction by two Justices of the Peace at the borough of Stockton in county Durham on 16 January 1871 of Jane Souter for stealing £1 in money and wearing apparel value 6s, the property of George Stockdale, at the borough of Stockton on 10 January 1871. Souter was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Durham for three calendar months. Certificate dated 10 October 1871
