DescriptionPetition from the inhabitants of Moorsholm to the Justices of the Peace acting for the division of Guisborough and to Captain Hill at Northallerton Chief Constable relating to the need for a police constable in the village of Moorsholm. There is no constable within four miles, and as Moorsholm is a mining district and a growing place, people gather, especially on a Sunday as they know that there is no-one to look after the place, and much damage has been done to property
