With certificate of conviction at a Petty Sessions held at the borough of Middlesbrough on 24 February 1870 of Samuel Cook for having in his possession old metal, namely a quantity of iron which had been stolen. Cook was fined 19s and ordered to pay the informer, Edward J Saggerson, £1 11s costs. Certificate dated 10 April 1872
