Description | Bill of indictment of Mary Watkin for obtaining 1s from Sarah Nelson wife of Joseph Nelson of Pickhill by falsely pretending that she (Watkin) was out begging for money for a new Primitive Methodist Chapel at Carthorpe, and had authority to receive donations; that they had got about £100 so far; that there were four of them out that day collecting money; and that the chapel would be ready for opening at the latter end of Harvest
