With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the borough of Leeds held at Leeds on 25 February 1874 of Michael Child for being a rogue and vagabond and playing a game of chance with cards in the Leeds Royal Park on 26 January 1874. Child was sentenced to hard labour for three calendar months at the prison for the borough of Leeds. Certificate dated 21 December 1876 [This certificate is for Michael rather than George Child - perhaps sent to the Justices of the North Riding in error?]
With certificate of conviction at the Guild Hall in the borough of Doncaster in the West Riding on 16 September 1875 of Charles Kendal for playing a game of chance called reds and whites on the Race Common at the parish of Doncaster on 15 September 1875. Kendal was fined £1. Certificate dated 21 December 1876
With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the borough of Leeds held at Leeds on 23 October 1875 of George Rotheray, William Kay and Henry Wilson for stealing £3 in money, the property of Francis Brown, at the borough of Leeds on 3 October 1865.
