With certificate of conviction at the police court at Bishopwearmouth on 7 May 1879 of Jane Ross for stealing a quilt value 15s, the property of Richard Oram, at the township of Bishopwearmouth on 6 May 1879. Ross was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at Durham for three months, commencing at the expiration of another term of imprisonment for an offence for which she was convicted on that same day. Certificate dated 7 April 1880
