Includes the animals of:

- George Hagley of Long Street, Thirsk, owner of a bullock slaughtered at Cowton's Yard, Thirsk, on 1 November 1881. Hagley was convicted and fined for moving the animal to a sale yard whilst it was suffering from disease, and the Local Authority refused to grant compensation
