With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 2 January 1877 of William Foxton for stealing two hind legs of a sheep, at the township of Redmire on 29 October 1876. Foxton was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for nine calendar months. Certificate dated 30 March 1881
