With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for county Durham held at Durham on 26 June 1882 of George von Buflow for obtaining 3s from Elizabeth Young at Durham on 2 June 1882 by falsely pretending to her that he had luggage at the railway station that was overweight, and consisted of a medical case and large chest. von Buflow was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at Durham for six calendar months.
