Description | Summary conviction of John Almey Taylor and John Shepherd, both of Lingdale miners. When searched by Thomas Imeson of Skelton a constable for the North Riding on suspicion of trespassing in search of game, Taylor had in his possession a bag containing the entrails of a number of rabbits which had recently been killed. Shepherd was searched on suspicion of aiding and abetting Taylor by taking the game away, and was found to have 50 rabbits in his possession
