- certificate dated 16 May 1885 of the slaughter on 15 May of three sucking pigs with swine fever, owned by Thomas Carbutt of 22 Ambrose Street, Fulford Road, York. The valuation was disallowed because of the owner's neglect in reporting the outbreak

- certificate dated 21 May 1885 of William Fawdington of St John's Street, York, veterinary inspector, that he had examined two store pigs belonging to George Johnson and Francis Harrison of Haxby, and found them affected with swine fever

- certificate dated 21 May 1885 of William Fawdington of St John's Street, York, veterinary inspector, that he had examined four suckling pigs belonging to John Jefferson of Haxby and found them affected with swine fever; and had examined two of the same litter, and found that they had died of swine fever

- certificate dated 1 June 1885 of the slaughter on 21 May 1885 of two store pigs belonging to George Johnson and Francis Harrison of Haxby and four sucking pigs belonging to John Jefferson of Haxby, and found them all affected with swine fever
