- Mahala Harker aged 27 years, chargeable to Arkengarthdale and sent to the County Asylum at York on 3 March 1881. Her weekly cost of maintenance is 9s 4d; she is a lunatic, and has been of unsound mind for eight years
- Thomas Robinson aged 34 years, chargeable to Reeth and sent to the County Asylum at York on 15 April 1882. His weekly cost of maintenance is 9s 4d; he is an idiot, and has been of unsound mind from birth
