With certificate of conviction at the Assizes and General Gaol Delivery held at the Castle of York on 8 November 1886 Henry Wilson was convicted of stealing one overcoat and one hat, the property of James Verity; and five knots of wool, the property of Ann Lawson, on 25 October 1886, having previously been convicted of felony. Wilson was sentenced to hard labour at the prison in York Castle for eight calendar months. Certificate dated 15 October 1888
