the benefit of all waste and spoils committed on any of the King's castles, honours, forests, parks, woods etc and all lead, iron, stone; but reserving to the King 1/4 of the same, with power to prosecute and to receive money for which they might compound
Now the above grant to Colonel Philip Proud, Huntington Hastings Corney Esq, James Buck, Thomas Phroud and Daniel King
power and authority to compound and agree with persons so concerned as above and to receive money on compositions and give discharges
