Reciting bond, 1 March 36 Charles II 1684: George Pitt junior and Edward Gresham to Abraham Vandenbende in £1600 And that Abraham Vandenbende obtained Judgement against George pitt junior and Edward Gresham in Court of Common Pleas Hillary 35 & 36 Charles II for £1600 debt and costs And that John Vandenbende has agreed to accept in satisfaction of the debt £200 and interest and in pursuance of which George Pitt has given other security to John Vandenbende for payment of the £200 and has now paid to John Vandenbende £54 for the interest on the £200 Now, in order to permit George Pitt party hereto to obtain from Edward Gresham one moiety of the £254 and interest plus charges, John Vandenbende by direction of George Pitt, has assigned to William Pitt: the said bond and judgement and money therein mentioned John Vandenbende appoints William Hill his attorney to receive from Edward Gresham a moiety of the £254 with interest and to take every legal course on non-payment |
