With certificate of conviction at the Petty Sessional court for the borough of Middlesbrough on 21 July 1886 of Thomas Burns for stealing one coat, one vest and one bag value 10s 6d, the property of John Harvey of the borough of Middlesbrough puddler, at the borough of Middlesbrough on 19 July 1886. Burns was fined 21s, with his goods to be distrained or hard labour at the prison at Northallerton for 21 days if he was unable to pay. Certificate dated 1 April 1887
With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the borough of Leeds held at Leeds on 15 April 1884 of Patrick Ruddy for possessing an implement of housebreaking - a screwdriver - at the borough of Leeds at 20 minutes to 12 at night on 4 April 1884.
