Description | Bill of indictment of William Shepherdson and Thomas Webster for obtaining one mare from Sigsworth Glover, who had custody of the mare, which Shepherdson and Webster had bargained for with its owner William Massey, but had not paid for. Shepherdson and Webster falsely pretended that Shepherdson had gone to Malton Station on the North Eastern Railway to see Mr Massey about the mare, and had got permission to collect it
