TitleEvidence in the case against Shadrock Sanderson
DescriptionEnvelope postmarked 24 August 1886 addressed to Mr G. Feathern, boot maker at High Street, Skelton, with undated and unsigned letter to "a frind". The writer says that the boots that were sent to Mrs Whinter were not for her at all, so the recipient of the letter should not expect her to pay for them. They have gone to "Austra", setting off on 24th. The recipient is warned to be careful for the present time, and send no more. He finishes "Good by [sic] to England"
